About Dundalk Education Centre
Dundalk Education Centre was founded in 1972, formerly known as ‘The Teachers Centre’. The centre at that time was situated in the VEC offices in Chapel St. The first Director of the centre was Mr Joe Carolan.
Mr Frank Greenan took over as Director in November of 1976. Mr Frank Greenan held his position as Director until January, 2012 when the present Director Mrs Ciara Keller was appointed.
At present Dundalk Education Centre has no permanent residence. Courses are currently held in the Louth & Meath's Educational Training Boards headquarters in Louth in Chapel St. and in the local schools. We are very grateful to both St. Malachy’s Infants’ School and the CBS primary school in Dundalk for facilitating our summer courses this year.
